Drug-impaired driving is a growing public safety issue in Utah and it presents unique challenges to law enforcement. To help Utah’s law enforcement officers address these challenges, the Utah Department of Public Safety’s symposium will feature presentations on trends in drug use, detection and recognition of drug-impaired drivers, the opioid epidemic, marijuana and synthetic drug use. Symposium speakers are Officer Jermaine Galloway; Chuck Hayes, IACP DEC Program Project Manager; and Dennis C. Powers, DEA. The symposium will also feature a question and answer panel. Lunch will be provided for attendees.

Registration is free. Please register before the event as there will be no day of/on-site registration.
