Each month YPSLC will turn the spotlight on a member who is making an impact in their professional field, YPSLC, and the community. These members exemplify the mission of YPSLC. The YPSLC leadership nominates a new member to be spotlighted each month. If you are interested in nominating a member for the spotlight, please contact Trey Ennis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hailing from Michigan, Sam has been a member of YPSLC since July 2016. Sam has quickly become a YPSLC rising star. She is a member of the Events Committee where she has assisted in the behind-the-scenes organization of YPSLC events. Sam has also spearheaded organizing our upcoming "Salt Lake City Sing Off: Charity-Oke event". 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Salt Lake County Youth Services After School Programs.
Sam is a board-certified genetic counselor with a master’s degree in Human Genetics and a master’s of public health from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the same university. She is employed as a Genetic Counselor at Huntsman Counselor Institute.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys playing kickball in a Beehive Sports league and taking advantage of all the fun the area has to offer.
YPSLC thanks Sam for all her support in making SLC a great place to live, work, and play.
